Experiences - "The In-Sight Story"
                                 - narrated by Sh. G. S. Batra (Bakshi)

Gurudev used to hold camps at different places for "Sewa". One such camp was held in Odhi, about 150 Kms. from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh in 1990. It was the last camp held by Gurudev Himself, in His Physical presence.

Gurudev was sitting in His room, which was on a height from the place of "Sewa" and was not directly visible, because of the mountaneous region. I was performing "Sewa" as per His instructions. The line was quite long and was moving fast.

During "Sewa", a man came to me who could not see. I took Gurudev's name and showered the man's eyes with "Jal" (Read about the sanctity of "Jal" in a separate section on this site"). The man gave immediate response. I waved my hand in front of his eyes, and he acknowleged that he could see. He even gave me correct answers of my questions of finger count that I put to Him.

I was amazed. I could not control my excitement. I told the man to wait right there till I return and I went running to Gurudev. As soon as I entered His room, I had merely said, "Guruji", when he spoke, "Je nimbu de chhinte maare honde, te bilkul changa ho janda." (If you would have mixed lemon-juice in the "Jal", the man would have been totally cured).
For a minute I was flabbergasted. First the man's vision was restored and now Gurudev was telling me about it, sitting in a place where He couldn't even see me. Then I regained control of myself and said, "I'll do it now", and I moved down, where the man was.

The man had already left. It seemed that the man's destiny was to be cured by Gurudev, only to that extent.....Gurudev is great.

Salutation to you, O great Sir !
